Dear Lisbeth, Thanks for your comment I don’t know that much about prizing for Burberry coats, I’m mostly into skirts But as overall the price for vintage Burberry has gone up quite a lot the last couple of years. I will recommend that you take a look at DBA, trendsales,ebay or Etsy and check the price for a similar item With that said I think around DKK 1500 to 2000, but I’m not sure Finally have you looked under the Burberry label, the one with the rat tails, at the back of the coat? Here there is a little label hidden and if I remember it correctly, this is where the size is stated. Dear Alfien.
My mother is 98 years old. When she was about 50 she bought a Burberrys (with rattails) trenchcoat model cc72 in London. It has not been worn for more than 20 years and looks as good as new except the buckles; unfortunately the cleaners did not tell my mother to undo them before cleaning, so they need to be exchanged with new. It does not seem as if there was ever a size-label in the coat. However, there is a blue label which states 67% polyester/33% cotton.
Would you be kind enough to tell me how much I can expect to sell it for?
